Bhindi Gosth


Ingredients
Mutton ½ kg
Ladyfinger ½ kg
Onion 3
Ginger 1 piece
Garlic 6 – 7 cloves
Oil ¼ cup
Whole spices as required
Turmeric 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Water 1 – 1 ½ cup
Salt to taste
Yogurt 125 gm
All spice 1 tsp


                           
Method
• Remove top and bottom of ladyfingers, deep fry in oil till golden brown, remove and keep aside.
• In blender put together 3 onion, 1 piece of ginger, 6 – 7 cloves of garlic and 1 cup water. Blend finely to a paste.
• Heat ¼ cup oil in pan, add mix whole spice and ginger garlic paste. Fry for 4 – 5 minutes.
• Now add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder and ½ kg mutton. Also add 1 cup water, cover and cook for 20 – 25 minutes.
• Add salt to taste, 125 gm whipped yogurt and fried ladyfingers. Mix well, simmer for 4 – 5 minutes till oil comes on top.
• Lastly sprinkle 1 tsp allspice and serve hot.
