Daal Makhni


 Recipe Ingredients

Whole red lentil                                                1 cup
Onion                                                    1
Dry mango                                          4
Garlic chopped                                  5 cloves
Oil                                                           ½ cup
Fresh cream                                       ½ packet
Turmeric powder                             1 tsp
Red chili powder                              1 tbsp
Coriander powder                           1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste                           1 tbsp
Butter                                                   2 tbsp
Salt                                                         to taste



Recipe Method

First soak 1 cup red lentil in lukewarm water.
Then strain it and cook it in lukewarm water with 1 onion, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder and 1 tbsp coriander powder and leave it to cook. When lentil tender, blend it and add 4 dry mango, salt to taste and 1 tbsp butter to mix.
Now add ½ packet fresh cream. In a frying pan heat ½ cup oil with 5 chopped garlic till it turn golden brown  and pout it om lentil  and serve with plain right.
