Coriander
Coriander also called cilantro, or dhania. Coriander is native to southern Europe and North Africa to southwestern Asia. The fresh leaves are use as an ingredient in many South Asian foods (such as chutneys and salads), Chinese dishes, Mexican cooking, particularly in salsa and guacamole and also use as a garnish to improve the looks of the dishes. In Pakistan and Central Asian recipes, coriander leaves are used in large amounts for cooking and often used on the dishes immediately before serving. All parts of the plant are safe to eat, but the fresh leaves and the dried seeds are usually used in cuisine. The leaves have a different flavor from the seeds. How to Store: The leaves spoil quickly when removed from the plant, and lose their aroma when dried or frozen. So use it soon. Just before for storing the coriander it should be not wet and place in a plastic bag. The coriander may also be stored for up to 1 week. The most simple and suitable way of storing coriander leaves is pluck the leaves and tender stems and store them in an airtight container. As and when you need, clean them in water and use them.

Dates Chutney
Recipe Ingredients
10 Dates100 gm Tamarind
1/2cup Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Red chili reed more
Khajur imli ki Chutney
Khajur imli ki Chutney
Ingredients
2 cups dates (khajur), deseeded
1/4 cup tamarind (imli), deseeded
1 cup grated jaggery (gur)
1 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
Method
Tips
- Wash the dates and tamarind and place them in a saucepan.
- Add the jaggery, chilli powder, asafoetida, salt and 4 cups of water and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool and strain the mixture through a sieve.
- Use as required. Store refrigerated.
Tips
- You can also purée the chutney in a food processor and then strain it.

Method: Add tomatoes in boiling water, remove skin and fine chop. Then add chopped tomatoes in a pan, add tamarind pulp, talhaar chili paste, sugar, salt, red chili powder, dry coriander and some water. Cook well until mixture turns into thick form. Let it cool down, and then blend well. Spicy and yummy chutney is ready. |

1/2 cup Chicken Tikka chunks chopped
1/2 cup Sweet corn
3 tbsp Capsicum chopped in tiny cubes
3 tbsp Tomato chopped in tiny cubes
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp White pepper
2 tbsp French dressing
1 tsp Sugar

2 cups Boiled elbow macaroni1/2 cup Chicken Tikka chunks chopped
1/2 cup Sweet corn
3 tbsp Capsicum chopped in tiny cubes
3 tbsp Tomato chopped in tiny cubes
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp White pepper
2 tbsp French dressing
1 tsp Sugar

Recipe Ingredients
2 Chicken breast1 cup Pineapple cubes
1 cubes Cucumber
3 tbsp Sweet corn
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp White pepper
2 tbsp Cream
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
Recipe Method
In a bowl mix all together 2 boiled and chopped chicken
breast, 1 cup pineapple cubes, 1 cucumber cut into cubes, 3 tbsp sweet corn, ½
tsp salt, ¼ tsp white pepper, 2 tbsp cream and 3 tbsp mayonnaise. Serve
chilled.

1 cup Boiled shell macaroni2 Boiled chicken fillet
1 tin Sweet corn
1 tin Pineapple chunks
1 bottle Mayonnaise
1 Apple cut into cubes
1 Cucumber cut into cubes
1 packet Fresh cream
2 Lemon
1 tbsp Sugar
to taste Salt
Recipe Method
Boil 2 chicken fillets and cut into
small pieces.In a bowl put together chicken pieces, 1 cup boiled shell macaroni,
1 tin sweet corn, 1 tin pineapple
chunks, 1 bottle mayonnaise, 1 apple cut into cubes, 1 cucumber cut into cubes,
1 packet fresh cream, Juice 2 lemon, 1 tbsp sugar and salt to taste.

2 cup Macaroni boiled1 Capsicum finely chopped
1 Tomato (removed seeds and chopped)
1 Cucumber finely chopped
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic paste
2 tbsp heaped Ketchup
2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
3 tbsp heaped Mayonnaise
Recipe Method
In a bowl
mix 3 tbsp mayonnaise with 1/2 tsp garlic paste, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 2
tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp Tabasco sauce and 1/2 tsp black pepper, mix well, add
boiled 2 cup boiled macaroni with chopped vegetables, mix well and serve chilled
over a bed of salad leaves.
